White it up

Hi lovelies,

I know I have already posted about the trends of the upcoming season, however I just wanted to tell you my focus of clothing now: WHITE, yeah it is maybe a kind of wishlist too, but I do have some whites in my wardrobe already.

So WHITE have a million shade: Ecru, off white, cream etc. I think like me lots of you have some white in their wardrobe, specially tops. All white outfit looks more polished and makes us look rich and elegant. Normally I am into dark colours, but I have figured out the hand to toe monocome is more chic and the Spring-Summer is all about light colours.

BASICS:

  1. T-Shirt: I have a few whites, but I cannot recommend more the Everlane Cotton Crew.
  2. Bottom up Shirt or Shirt dress: I have to wear it to work, however I do have one at home too, but I would love to have a Shirt dress like this.
  3. Cami: I do own a v-cut mulberry silk cami from Massimo Dutti, but this Sezane one also a great alternative.
  4. White dress: I do have one oldie from Zara, but this is the one, which I should look for.

To add in 2020:

  1. Toursers or jeans or bermuda: anything straight and croped
  2. White trainers, specially from a sustainable brand like Veja
  3. Cardigan, which you can just wear on top of anything, when it gets chili.
  4. Crossbody bag: this part I do have, but if you look for one, Coccinelle Beat bag looks like a camerabag…

How you can spice it up?

Gold hoops

Layered gold necklances

Brown and beige accessories

I know it is pretty hard to buy secondhand (or thrift) now, as you can only get them online if it is coming from a company… so if you buy new try a sustainable or local brand.

Xoxo,

Wishlist update

Hi lovelies,

My last wishlist was right before Christmas, so I do think it is time to update. It is also great for me to focus on items, which I really want instead of impulse purchases, but it is also ideal for my family and friends to keep it in eyes. I do not say that these things I want them right away but I would accept them anytime.

I was check my last one, I have just realized it was a pretty great one, so firstly those which I am keeping from it:

Lisa Eldridge’s Velvet Ribbon lipstick,

Levi’s 501 in grey wash

The 2 Furla bags: Mimi and Diva (lots of the colors are so great)-good crossbody mid-size leather bag, which I am looking for so far, but maybe it it going to be a camera style bag….

I was also checked my Luxury Christmas gift ideas and I just realized that all of these items are so great I would love to have them and some of them I want to find second hand or something similar…

Also maybe on second hand, alongside with a silk blouse:

and maybe save up for a YSL Cardholder (190 EUR on Net-a-porter)

5

Then the news:

Everlane Alpaca Crew or Alpaca Cardigan: I just truly believe these would be super soft.

Undersea Bikini: local brand, which has an eco and susbainable certificate, this year I am looking forward to their new collection

Maybe some trend pieces, which are missing from my wardrobe:

Organza blouse and Print dress which are trending now.

I have already mentioned my makeup wishlist in my inventory post

Hair and skin care:

I just tend to continue my more natural way so I would love to try a bamboo toothbrush, natural soap and some naked hair conditioner. + face spray

Spring- Summer Trends of 2020

Hi lovelies,

Yeah, this year is about low buy and a financial balance for me, but who told you can not be trendy with less shopping? Most of the trends are just a come back, so I would definitelly say to check your closet first. There are like trends, which are staying like the trench coats and military colors, cutouts, demin ect. Leather will be even more colorful and brighter. Some trends are I am not into it, so will not mention at all, try to only focus on my 10 favourite and most fresh and wearable trends.

I am going to attach some high fashion photos and some more afforable options, which I think you should try in 2020. Hereby my favourite, which I think I will love to implement to my low buy wardrobe:

All the first three most seen would be refers that the -’70 s and ’90s come back, being a ’90s kid I am remembering my mum wearing all type of suits and blouses so I might going to have a look in her wardrobe first:

  1. Bermuda Suit: culottes are getting shorter and will be paired with a blazer
  2. Get shirty: again the same thing: Suit, blouse and Shirts everywhere like in the ’70s
  3. Waistcoats: also referes to the same trend: the suit, so in 2020 invest in a good suit with waistcoat, long high waisted pants and a bermuda, but I would go for a 5 piece one: including a skirt.

The next ones are colors, shapes and textures:

4. Colors: Light yellow and green, summer: neon- all shade of yellow, which I have find out to really love, the lighter all year arround, brights in the summer. The neon is a bit too much for me, so I try to skip it by brighter colors…

vneck

5. In Tiers

6. Hot pants: high waisted shorts are the girls best friends in the summer if you have a nice leg – otherwise rather choose a skirt or a bermuda please! Please only use it in the beach towns, not in big cities, because we are not interested in your bum, neither in your body fluid! I do love my linnen one and I do not think to buy and other one this year, but here are some great options.

7. See- Through: it was still exists last year, but honestly I have not seen any of them to be on the high street, and that is a trend which you must not send so much… nice print and a bralette underneath will be breathtaking.

The last 3 are the prints: animal, floral prints and stripes are always arround, let’s do some update: Tomcsanyi and Neverfully Dressed are my suggestions

8. Print 1: Polka dots

9. Print 2: ’60s wallpaper

10. Print 3: Tropical: of course noone can beat JLo and Versace, but we can try to copy…

And the perfect dress is presented by Priyanka Chopra: organza, polka dotted and fluffy:

Getting cruelty free- makeup issue part 1

Hi lovelies,

Let’s continue crueltyfreeserie the with the most interesting part, my makeup bag! I have tried to find so alternatives of the products that I really like, but so make of them are not cruelty free, so I had to make some research. Firstly I am going to start with my drug store section, all these are cheaper and easier to restore. With my high end ones, I try to sell or give away or just replace with cruelty free ones, when they are out.

My current cruelty free products.

These all are not!

Eyeliners: I am having 4 to restore:

  • Yves Rocher: 12- Bleu Agave and 09- Blue Paradis- they are so creamy and not so long lasting, even thought they are pencils I used them a lot like a liner. Yves Rocher sells there product in China, so replacement goes to Stila- Intense Sapphire (Bleu Paradis), which is out from China since 2016.
  • Artdeco Kajal Liner 02- simple black liner, honestly it was not a big love as it is not so soft and neither well pigmented…
  • L’Oréal: liner, I love this go to liner now I have bought a new one from NYX

Lipsticks:

  • Rimmel- Kate 03: it is a pinkish browy nude shade, this color is nice, but it is not so long lasting and I am just simply hate how it smells, that is why I do not use it a lot. People consider it as a MAC: Velvet Teddy dupe
  • Rimmel- The only 1: Peachy Beachy: the perfect peach color but not way too creamy and after a half hour it is disappears or on my teeth…
  • Maybelline- Shine Pink Shock: okay I am not a lipgloss fan, this is having a nice shine and not sticky, so might need to replace it later.

Nails:

In Generally I tend to say I am not a big nailpolish fan, I was so suprised how much I have, but mostly they are so old… so I have take all my Maybelline, L’Oréal, Bourjois, Oriflame, Yves Rocher and Sally Hansen products to the trash without any heartbreaking moment. Kiko, BeYu, Pupa, Catrice and Crystal Nails left in my collection If they not dried out…

+ Mascara: I have ordered my favourite Too Faced one to replace my L’Oreal Lash Paradise;)

+ Bobbi Brown: Stick Foundation will be finished soon and not going to repurchase it.

Of course those which are still good will goes to a local girls home as a charity.

Xoxo,

Why you have nothing to wear?

Hi lovelies,

I think we all know that feeling when you open your wardrobe, which is full of clothes, but you are just searching and searching… but nothing. Yes, we all own a lot of items, which we do not like or not in our size and honestly they are all useless. #girlsproblem

So why you have nothing to wear?

  • … because they are not in your size or you just do not like them: they took the place of your wardrobe, might be you used to love them when you have bought but now it is time to through them away and give these to a charity.
  • … because they are not in a good condition: remember you love that black dress, but now it is looks dark grey, not so classy or even there are some screeches on it-I will repair and wear it on an other day – no you do not, say bye.
  • … because you do not have basics: basics are boring but quite important to pop up your other items, send your money on these and you will not need to buy them all the time,
  • … because you only have basics: that is the opposite and it is a way too boring, Let’s go shopping some new trends,
  • … because you rather buy cheap things: cheap items, looks cheap- buy quality and lack of quantity,
  • … because it is not your style: we do follow the trends, but not all of them are in your personal style and even if its fits you do not feel comfy.
  • … because everyone has the same: try to buy something more unique, I know it is so hard, but might some accessories will help, do not lookalike a clone.
  • … because you are shopping without thinking in outfits: sometimes the new love do not fit to any of the others in your wardrobe or you have bought exactly the same you already have. Let’s plan ahead!

I hope you have enjoyed this small post.

SS18 in my wardrobe

Hi everyone!

After my Spring wardrobe wishes it is time to figure out that how I can transform a dozen of  top SS18 trends to my wardrobe. I have read a lot of inspiration on your blogs:

Now check out how I will adapt the top Spring/Summer 18 trends:

  1. Trenchcoat: this is my number one spring/autumn coat in the classic shade since 2008 and a very basic in my wardrobe. This is my second trenchcoat ever(photo from 2012), I love this shape and even ideal for bike rides:)P1180223
  2. Pastel colors: spring is always fresh, so light colors tend to be must have. These pieces have been already in my wardrobe:
  3. Checked: this is interesting for Spring, rather used to have at AW, but I have a nice checked skirt, which is so lightweight purchased a couples of years ago at Zara.IMG_4233
  4. Jeans: everyone love jeans and this season it is comes in all different shapes. We can wear jeans like in the begging of 2000s, but I do not think I will to these too often:
  5. Flowers: also like pastel colors it is comes with spring each year, but this year I want to mix it with the next trend
  6. See-thought: mesh is in trend also for a while, so I just want to purchase a nice mesh dress with some flower applicationmesh
  7. Glitters: one of the hardest thing to wear for me: glitters and it is not just for New Year’s Eve party… Might be that will be the trend which I am going to skip, but this one is really nice… hmm a squinned dresssquinned
  8. Bright colors: for me it is rather a summer trend, it is nice and interesting trend to have bright colorblokking  together. Of course red dresses my basicsIMG_4234
  9. Blazer and blouses: office comes to the street, I love blouses and blazers makes all the outfits so elegant. I have some blacks and a linen cream, but these will be something to purchase.blazer
  10. Dots and stripes: it is an other basic in my wardrobe, but I am just thinking of buying some more dots like this:

Big NO:

Belt bag: it is everywhere, but I will not have it in my wardrobe I am sorry. Sporty version I have for running, but I think a small cross body bag is much more classy

xoxo,

Spring wardrobe wishes

Hi everyone!

Despite the coldest weather now during this Winter I think it is just time to think ahead.

I am just after my seasonal wardrobe clean out – find my tips and tricks here  – and now I feel ready for the Spring and just like AW17 here is my current wish list (summer will be separate). Honestly, you have to know that I love basic capsule wardrobes, so I usually choose timeless pieces and I rather pay more for a quality than having tons of useless clothes  (even thought I have some). See the shops on the printscreens.

White silk top: I have been looking for an ultimate white silk top for ages and finally at Massimo Dutti from real Mulberry Silk. This item just really simply and so feminine which can give an effortless look with a suit or even just a jeans.

Silk blouse: again a basic thing, all women must have. Instead of polyester go for natural silk fabric. Cotton shirts are so office look for me. I do not have an exact wish yet, so here is an option:

Culottes: I am not a trouser girl but this style I just love how comfy it is and also it can be sporty or classy. Might go for a black which is one of my fav or lighter colors:grey or natural with high-rise waist. That is going to be a purchase to save, as I do not know how long it will be a trend to be.

Kimono dress: it might will be a summer dress… It lookalike as a bathrobe, which I love at home:)- it might will be Shirt dress

Accessories: even long, big earrings will be on fashion, like I had for Red blush I really do not like those bigs so I will also choose smaller like this The MAMAKIN’s Empty Circle Earrings:

Street sneakers (light color):white or any light color sneakers are trending now. Again I have to say I am not the kind of white shoe lover as I tend to clean them a lot in a big city??? I just have ordered this blush baby, so cute isn’t it?

+1 MOM jeans

And these babies: probably I will not order them as I have to try and they are a bit expensive to buy without trying….

Gifts (better to give)

These all the things which I bought for Christmas(sorry for the mess)

Sister: Book(hungarian), cute calendar, Lipstick and home decor box from Cinq Filles

BFF: cinq filles box + candies

I always try to buy gifts, that my family and friends will like, literally love to see the joy of people upon receiving really wanted gifts.

Continue to my hubby: guys need IT and tech things, so his extra internal storage was his wish, but did bought Ted Baker wallett- Asos haul here-, swimsuit for our upcoming honeymoon and his favourite handcream ( the only he can stand) from L’occatine Classic shea butter one.

Brother: Yrka T-shirt- he really likes these extra-not-fast-fashion ones and some IKEA plates which he asked for.

We did a family calendar for my grannies and parents-timelapse video below and some Grey towels for our parents, which just perfectly matches to our house’s bathrooms.

placeholder://

Did bought some little things to my siblings’ partners: St. Andrea: Napbor ( really good quality white wine cuvée from Eger region) and Nebouxii socks as he loves colorful and funny socks. For me: local made and Nebouxii is the only animal “wearing blue socks” which is just adorable.

For my brother gf: little cat book, sented candle and cute, warm socks.

Of course we did some ginger bread in this nice folie.

Stay turned for my gifts…

Shopping Guide (Budapest Alternative)

As being a Concierge, I often face with the question where I can do shopping in Budapest instead of Shopping Malls or looking for local products.

Yesterday (21rst)-I had a shopping day, unfortunatelly I do not have a vlog camera (I should- so that can add to my wishlist). Below I draw my route and of course there will be a lot more shops in the city than mentioning.

I want all till Opera Metro Station and get into the side street from Andrássy Avenue to :

CINQ FILLES – Paulay Ede str. 44.

The most beautiful boxes I have ever seen, really high quality and it is also ideal for home decor. They do sell boxes, premium bonbons, sweets, wines and candles. I was come to buy their own products only.

look the shopwindow:

img_18821-e1513373873326.jpg

PROJEKT SHOWROOM- Paulay Ede str. 29.

It is a temporary- pop up store- which now focus on Christmas, so they do have little books, stationeries, cheramic, gastro gifts, toys and bags ect. They have Greek and Gorgeous, KAP makeup or The Ordinary the things which I was coming for.

THE GARNER STUDIO- Paulay Ede str. 18.

It is a clothes store, with local designer brand like Tomcsanyi, YKRA or limited edition of Tisza or international Brand like Toms. It has a retro feeling from the ’80s and ’90s Eastern Europe, which is pretty cool, this shopping bag reminds me my grandfather’s ones used at the Market in the early ’90s.

IMG_1883[1]

IMG_1888[1]

LAURA VIRÁG- Király str.28.

Shabby chic flower shop with the most beautiful and fresh flowers in town. Really love their creativity, joy and athmosphere of the shop.

WONDERLAB- Vere Pálné str 3.

Also a concept store with 30 local designers for jewely, clothes, bags, dog equipment, they are my old time favourite. Really chatty place and prices are not so high for quality.

BORTÁRSASÁG- multiple locations

If you are a wine lover and you prefer quality, that’s your place. If you are a foreign visiting the city and looking for some good wines that is the place and they do have knowledge what they sell! I should turn back soon.

Stay turned for my gifts haul…
