So January happened

Hi lovelies,

January passed so quickly, with a lot of works and no relaxation at all. This year we had to skip holidays: no skiing at all, my heart is broken but we have to pay a lot because of our flat (tax) and furnitures. We have ordered our beautiful bed (damn expensive but healthy sleep is the most important), which is not here yet, but hopefully in February.

So Charity: most of the people dominate only at Christmas time, while it is not just only at these times would be necessary. I try to find one issues in each months and this January few bloggers and a Charity Service advertised #nemluxustaska aka #notaluxurybag campaign, which is to giveaway a bag with some beauty, makeup and cleansing stuff, which I just happy to join.

I have made an order at Feelunique.com to replace some of my MAC products from my decluttering last time. I have a budget, so I usually do smaller hauls on the way to become totally cruelty free

Urban Decay: All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray, Eyeshadow Primer Potion (Anti-Aging), Troublemaker Mascara and Perversion Mascara all in travel size to  try them out.

Hello JO: Bright Eyes Jelly Masks: it is a Korean (or might just lookalike) vegan skin care startup. I love under eye patches, specially the caffeine ones due to my dark under eye. I have just tried, but love the smell, the packaging.

Gifts: Philip Kingsley Weatherproof hairspray as it is 60 ml it is a pretty decent amount, I believe it is a works for a longwearing styling effect, so hopefully will work. antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask I have not tried yet, but I believe it is a cleaning and moutrising mask.

I hope you have enjoyed this little post, keep waiting for my regrets to buy.

Xoxo,

Getting cruelty free- makeup issue part 1

Hi lovelies,

Let’s continue crueltyfreeserie the with the most interesting part, my makeup bag! I have tried to find so alternatives of the products that I really like, but so make of them are not cruelty free, so I had to make some research. Firstly I am going to start with my drug store section, all these are cheaper and easier to restore. With my high end ones, I try to sell or give away or just replace with cruelty free ones, when they are out.

My current cruelty free products.

These all are not!

Eyeliners: I am having 4 to restore:

  • Yves Rocher: 12- Bleu Agave and 09- Blue Paradis- they are so creamy and not so long lasting, even thought they are pencils I used them a lot like a liner. Yves Rocher sells there product in China, so replacement goes to Stila- Intense Sapphire (Bleu Paradis), which is out from China since 2016.
  • Artdeco Kajal Liner 02- simple black liner, honestly it was not a big love as it is not so soft and neither well pigmented…
  • L’Oréal: liner, I love this go to liner now I have bought a new one from NYX

Lipsticks:

  • Rimmel- Kate 03: it is a pinkish browy nude shade, this color is nice, but it is not so long lasting and I am just simply hate how it smells, that is why I do not use it a lot. People consider it as a MAC: Velvet Teddy dupe
  • Rimmel- The only 1: Peachy Beachy: the perfect peach color but not way too creamy and after a half hour it is disappears or on my teeth…
  • Maybelline- Shine Pink Shock: okay I am not a lipgloss fan, this is having a nice shine and not sticky, so might need to replace it later.

Nails:

In Generally I tend to say I am not a big nailpolish fan, I was so suprised how much I have, but mostly they are so old… so I have take all my Maybelline, L’Oréal, Bourjois, Oriflame, Yves Rocher and Sally Hansen products to the trash without any heartbreaking moment. Kiko, BeYu, Pupa, Catrice and Crystal Nails left in my collection If they not dried out…

+ Mascara: I have ordered my favourite Too Faced one to replace my L’Oreal Lash Paradise;)

+ Bobbi Brown: Stick Foundation will be finished soon and not going to repurchase it.

Of course those which are still good will goes to a local girls home as a charity.

Xoxo,

My charity box

So finally, finished our charity box to a girl age 12-15. I have decided to give it to a young teenager girl, as most of the people bring the shoe boxes for the little ones and forget about the teenagers, while they really have wishes and so on ( Based on my volunteer day with the baptist).

So what you ought to do, I do believe you have it in other countries as well:
– look arround at home: what unnecessary for you, might be a wish to someone else
– find out the gender and age group
– take a shoe box and fabricate its look
– go shopping with your bugdet, shops like: Housewear stores, drogeries, stationeries, bookstores might have a good offer

My bugdet was ca 16-20 EUR, gifts are the following:
– never used H&M skirt – s size
– bijou which I have never used
– photoframe
– book
– nail polish, mascara, lip balm, soap
– chocolates

All tiny, little things, but the best of Christmas is to give for someone else.
Next to the box, we brought some more soaps, tea bags and blankets to the charity.

Have a lovely day and make this Christmas never-to-be-forgetten for somebody.

Stay turned…
