October mini haul

Hi lovelies,

This is a mini haul of the end of October, yes I already had Glamour days haul  and these were mainly ordered by that time, just the only arrived now.

Firstly, Tarte had their 18th Birthday and had some offer like free shipping without limitation on one day so I have ordered their Shape Tape Concealer in the shade Light Natural and I was so lucky winning their Birthday set, which was coming with my order (even thought they have written ca. 3 days later).

Birthday set came in a sequined cluth and the inside:

  • Tartelette Flirt palette: cardboard palette with 6 mini shades, perfect for travel :4 of those are matte and 2 shimmery, color touch is just the dupe of MAC Expensive pink
  • Lifted Mascara: Brown sporty line waterproof ( I just think so mascara),
  • Lip sculptor: intoxicating limited edition shade with lipstick and lip gloss on the other side,
  • Tartist: Totes lipliner- hot pink color liner.

The Body Shop: I have repurchased my favourite clay mask: Himalayan Charcoal (update soon regarding my skincare) and they have launched a Micellar water in their Camomile line, so badly want to try.

Bonami has written after a week of Glamour that they can not sent the velvet puff, which I have ordered and paid, so they will send me back my money… pff ever the worst costumer service communication which I have heard, no excuse or sorry they are advertising something that they can not send to the costumers and they do not write one day after your purchase (AKA I have lost the opportunity to order with 20% off from somewhere else) and they do not offer any compensation, when I have written back and what would be my compensation, they wrote back 2 000 HUF (cupon) -which is less than 10% of my order- ca. 8 USD- are you kidding? How you have ever considered that I will order from you anything else? They should come to a Hotel cross training of handling complaints. NEVER EVER AGAIN… On Saturday they have send an email, it is on it way, how comes? So the whole we can not fullfill your request was just a lie. Monday the Courier company started to deliver it, of course they called me when I was busy at work, tried to call them back 20 minutes later(and 5 times more) and just have tracked on their site that they took it back to the sender… WHY? How I can call them back if they do not pick up the phone at all? They should try 3 times to deliver before send it back, what did I do wrong OMG? So for 2 days now, I am just calling the customer service and try to get my baby back… so horrible.

My shopping rules (financial)

Hi lovelies,

Recently I have posted a couple of hauls, so you might think that I am really a shoppoholic. Honestly, I am not considering myself as a big shopper and I am really try to skip impulse shopping. Here is my general rules:

  • I am always check my household, wardrobe ect. before going to shopping,
  • Never go shopping before meals or empty stomach,
  • Always give a time limit, so if I see it is too long row at cashier, simply do not get in at all,
  • I am using my bike in the city, so do not get into the shopping mall by the metrostation,
  • Buying clothes: always check the quality and waiting before purchasing a few days ( I have not bought any clothes since July- bikini exapt the underwear this month)-think about it,
  • Always know where they have sales, but do not go there are buy just in care if I have something waiting for a while,
  • I do give away/recycle or through away at least the same number of items if I purchase something,
  • Create and following my rules: like do only purchase CF cosmetics, or only buying a clothes if I would love it by the next day or the 3rd day as well,
  • try to buy from local designers,
  • I am writing done my incomes and purchases into a notebook daily, put it into an Excel weekly.

One thing is really important, that I only send 15% of my fixed income freely!

Glamour days haul

Hi lovelies,

I am going to share a small haul again. Coupon days were last weekend, here is my purchases.

Honestly I have tried to minimize my spending due to our flat, to be able to purchase some nice stuff there, which I do not want to share now.

img_5155-1

Wednesday we have been at the two most common drugstores here at Rossmann and DM. Okay the dishwasher tabs are not on the picture, but these were all we have bought, so all the necessary ones. Yes I know not all of them are cruelty free, as I do not know any period toiletries company cruelty free here and my husband items- he is not in care of this cause… Nature Box is a big grey for me, because I still have not find the answer in their site, only that they are vegan.

Yes, I have not purchased any makeup, just have received a cherry colored lipglass (I have given it away already to my brother’s girlfriend) and a foundation from Tred it up, which is a German brand at DM and they are cruelty free. I have used to see the color of this Insta Ready Oil Free Makeup yet, which seem to be all right. It should be a light cover, slightly matte (silk matte) finish and it would cost only 3,4 EUR.img_5156-1

At Nyx I have bought Epic Ink Liner as a replacement of my L’Oréal one, I hope it will work. HD Finishing Powder in Translucent is a big cult, so as my MAC and Essence white ones over, it is time to try it, and it is seemed so good in a whole day work. I have also purchased a true red blush to replace my MAC Frankly Scarlett: Crimson, honestly at the store the tester was looked matt for me, but open it up it is seems like there are some shimmers- all right I will mainly use as an eyeshadow…

At Douglas I have found a new perfume Rochas- Mademoiselle, which was a love at first smell. So fresh and light which I love- fruity, rose and a bit of citrus like my everyday ones.img_5157-1

I have not purchased any clothes, only underwear, which were just before Glamour as Intimissimi has a recycle campaign, I rather take back 10 items and get 20% off on my all blacks.

Mini Hauls

Hi lovelies,

Welcome back to my blog. I just want to share some of my resent purchases, which was done by the end of September, beginning of October. Well we are in the middle of our OUR FLAT project so I have lack of money to send on myself.

Cultbeauty:

I am in love with this site as you can read here, there are always a lots of things on my wish list and it is really good that they do have a coupon code for 15% off all the time. There order limit is relatively low (40 GBP) and they also provide 2 minis to try after 50 GBP of purchase.

  • Becca- First Light Priming Filter: it is only a small size to try(15ml) as my Laura Mercier one was finished (lately they announced that they start to sell the brand), I also have a mattifying one from The Body Shop and I wanted to have one of the more luminous once like MAC Strobe cream. I have just tried once, cannot say I love it or not.
  • Becca- Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed: I have ordered a travel size (2,4g) as I did not know this brand and also small highlighter is enough… the packing really remembers me to my KIKO blush, it is a nice shimmery champagne white gold color, more lighter than my favourite The Balm one and it is so long wearing, but not a dupe for my Bobbi Brown’s Pink Glow, which package have just been broken (that was not cruelty free too).
  • Too Faced- Better Than Sex Mascara: I do not think I have to explain but this is my all time favourite mascara and I had to replace my L’Oreál one, which is considered as a dupe of this holy:).
  • OUAI- Wave Spray: I can not wait to try this cult product and I also tend to purchase some other of the range…
  • Gifts: Pixi – Endless Silky Eye Pen: I do not really use black pencil liners, but it is a must have, so it is great to replace my Artdeco one. Oskia Cleansing foam, I think I have to order its full version, however Omorovicza’s one was also same great.

Zoeva:

unfortunately we do not have the Brand at Douglas like in other countries, but they do ship to Hungary and finally they offered a free Shipping on 40EUR above(they are cheaper in Germany),so I have made my order:

  • Concealer buffer brush: that was not the part of my En Taupe brush set and I really wanted to try and have this beautiful rosegold version.
  • Café Palette: my main reason to order from their site, as this is exclusive palette with some nice green-pink colors which I love, some of them are great dupes to my favourite MAC eyeshadows
  • Grafith Eyeliner in Minth: is shimmery nude liner, perfect for the waterline.

Gifts: sorry they do not send. Even DHL was so slow and texting fake delivery dates…

Cruelty free hair care

Hi lovelies,

The cruelty free series on after my skin care routine where is my hair care routine. Previously I was not so conscious, so I had to change nearly my whole shelf. Firstly I will write about my basics and then the styling products which I used to use and currently use:

  • Shampoo: I was so heartbroken, when I have found the fact that Yves Rocher is not cruelty free anymore, so I just have bought this Neobio Sensitive shampoo, which I have tried only once so I hope it is going to be working for me. No silicone,no parabens,no perfume, vegan and gluten free- sound amazing:)
  • Conditioner: I was a really huge fan of Elseve (Elvive) by L’Oréal for ages. I have changed to a little indie product for 2 months and it is so good. This is a small German Brand, exclusive at DM: Langhaarmadchen: Intensive Repair, which is a products for long hair girls:). I think I will try their other products as well, because this conditioner makes my hair so smooth, shine and weightless.
  • Leave-in conditioner:Gliss Kur Total Repair Express conditioner was my cult fav for ages, I loved to use it on my towel dry hair, just to get some extra shine and repair, now I have changed Bleach London-  one. (I seems the same after 1 use).
  • Hair oil: That was a point, where I am using The Body Shop Argan Oil (beauty oil category as it is good for skin too) for 2 years now, which is a really rich oil. I have their jar package, now they have changed it into a spray oil version.

Styling:

  • Heat protector spray: I rarely use hair straightener or haircurler, but when am I, it is the Balea: Hitze Schutz Spray for ages, it is one of the cheapest in the market, but still so good.Balea-Haarprofis-Hitzeschutzspray-1000x600
  • Wave spray: salty water wave spray is my must have: I have used Tony&Guy and then L’Oréal Stylista, but now I have ordered Ouai Wave Spray to try a finally cruelty free one.
  • Dry shampoo: Yet I have used Aussie (travel size) really rare on bad hair days, but this is a product which I do not need so… I am looking for my future to be.
  • Hairspray: I used Taft, but Have not purchased a cruelty free alternative yet, as I am not really using these styling sprays…looking for your suggestions.

I did not write about hair mask, bacause I use a DIY: olive oil or egg-coconut-lemon combo- these are more natural and costsmuch less.

Which are your favourite hair care products? Let me to know done at the comments.

Birthday haul

Hi lovelies,

I am on to share you my second Cultybeauty haul, Here the first . August is my birthday month, so I have used my 15% off coupon code. As we are having Flat project on I have chosen only a few things, so Norvina Palette still will be on a wish list only. All these products are cruelty free, As I am getting cruelty free.

Again everything arrived safely. I have not tried all of them yet, so on:

– Zoeva En Taupe: I was on to have a pencil brush, a dupe of MAC 217 and a big fluffy blending brush, but I have found this brush kit, wish was a better deal, so I have received a brow angled brush, angeled liner brush( I already have MAC 266) and detailed eyeshadow brush. I have tried once them, looks to nice and seems to be a good quality, however, the blending brushes are not as soft as MAC or ABH once- I hope it will be better by washing them a few times. This set is comes in a clutch, which is pretty.

– Zoeva Strobe gel : it was a gift, in the shade Corona, which might will be a bit dark for my skin, so I have not decided whether to keep or to sell this liquid Highlighter. What do you think about this product?

– The Ordinary Serum Foundation: I really wanted to try this inexpensive foundation, I have chosen the lighter formula for everyday use. So liquidy and 1.2 Natural seems too yellow on my hand, but it works nicely on my face and it is amazing for a whole day…

– The Ordinary Niacinamide 10%- Zinc 1%:this is a cult products for blemishes, which I will try after my Body Shop finish.

– Pixi Glow Tonic: that was a product I just really wanted to, even I have not tried it out, but I can not wait. Just I do not want to use two exfoliation product in the same time.

Of course I have received the two little samples….

Bikini issue of 2018

Hi lovelies,

I know it is July already, but I just finally had the time to purchase my swimwear. I might be boring, but I have chosen Calzedonia again, which is my all time favourite Italian beachwear. They have a really great quality and I love their brazilian briefs like hell.

This year all of the pieces was a dream:

  • Nautical: I have fallen in love with the stripes this summer, so it was not a question what to choose. I wanted to have something more interesting than triangle, and preferable a non-padded top. So I loved those two with and extra binding underneath, like Ivy and Kate 1515. I am too fair for Ivy, but Kate 1515 was perfect for me, so just choose this blue version, so adorable.
  • Black: no summer without black bikini, there are my rescuer: so versatile and simple. I already have a simple triangle with a simple black brazilian, so my choice was the sexy Calzedonia Isabel with ruffles. Ok, the top is not so good for sunbathe, but ideal for after beach and how told that topless is bad? P.S.: it was on 30% sale.
  • Swimsuit: Hungary is the land of spas, I was looking for the perfect swimsuit for over 2 years no, and finally the Oysho plain grey reached the limit: I had a beloved one from the 90s while I was a kid and that is remembers me a lot. I love its back and the shimmer metal rings on the sides so retro.

SO ALL I NEED IS A HOLIDAY!

And you? What are your choices for this summer?

Empties and clearing out

Hi everyone!

So Glamour days are just on the corner, as I do not want to over purchase I love to have a look what I have in my wardrobe, makeup kit or in beauty. And of course throw away the empties, old makeups and creams, sell or give away to a charity (clothes).

Shopping on sales

Glamour days is a shopping weekend in Hungary, organized by Glamour magazine, where you can buy a lots of stuffs with discounting coupon, of course there is a lot of shopping malls do have some coupons of 20%, but at drugstore you usually have 50% sales on items with the magazines, and there are some products , which I only buy on these days in every half-year. I think this time I should figure out a budget to avoid impulse shopping.

Here is my clear out:

MAKE-UP I HATE

  • Maybelline: Master Strobing Liquid– honestly I do not like this product, even I used only a tiny bit, I am going to sell it
  • Bobbi Brown: Instant Full Cover Concealer- this is an expensive product, which I have used only 3-4 times, but I can not stand it under my eyes, too thick and the color which the artist gave me (SAND) really does not match. Try to sell

Make-up empties:

  • Bobbi Brown: BB Cream (Fair) loved it so much now I will replace my other fav BB: Clinique age defense BB in shade 2
  • Clarins: Eclat minute (07) I have already repurchased
  • Laura Mercier Foundation Primer-Oil Free: really love that primer, that works perfectly with Estee Lauder Double Wear, but I do not know where to repurchase it-so what shall I buy instead?
  • MAC: Prep-Prime Translucent Powder:really nice white powder, but nearly empty might will purchase an other brand’s translucent powder.

Skin care empties:

  • The Body Shop: Vitamine E sorbet: really love that lightweight cream, I think I will repurchase it. This is my go to daily cream, make up is so well to apply on it
  • The Body Shop: Tea Tree Night Mask: Tati hates it,  do love it, the skin feels so smooth and clean after the night, I tend to use only a little bit of it for my blemishes
  • L’Oreal: Pure Clay: Glow Mask: it is not a bad clay mask, but I think I will look for something else, which is a bit more deep cleaner clay mask.
  • Yves Rocher: Serum Végétale (I think it was) Eye cream it is a big no…

Oldies:

  • Clinique: Stay matt powder: I loved that powder, but I use it for 3-4 years and it is nearly empty, so I think I have to replace it- might will be an other one just I have to make a search on it.
  • Essence: All about Matt!: is a really good fixing powder from the drugstore, lasts ca. 3-4 hours,so I do not really like that I have to powder my T zone again and again during the day. I understand the hype it is probably the best in value and price but I tend to send more for a better one. I do not like its packing….
  • Beyu: Brow Powder: honestly I really love that powder, so much products, but I have it for 4 or 5 years so too old to use, unfortunately I have not seen this brand anymore at Douglas (it was ca. 17-18 SD).
  • L’Oréal: Color Infaillible: Pressed pigments in Sahara shade, probably the best and long lasting pigment in golden shade, it has a lot of product and after a 8-9 years of use I stll have the third of it. L’Oréal why discontinue this?
  • Bobbi Brown: Pot Rouge: Pale Pink is my go to cream blush, it is nearly empty, I have purchased like 2 years ago, but the product itself is 7 years old according to this production code… I think I have to repurchase it.
  • Too Faced: Better Than Sex– Waterproof travel size just forgotten of the photo of empties… also a really cool mascara which I love- same goes to MAC powder.
  • L’Oréal: Color Riche– J.Lo’s Nude is empty I loved it, but I have MAC Angel now, which is really similar to that.

CLOTHES

I always  clear out my wardrobe at season changing, but this year March was a way too chilly so… I will not describe what I will thought away items by items.

  • Oldies, which I have not used for a year
  • Never used/Used once
  • Occasion dresses
  • Torn, starched or items which need to repair

SHOPPING

This year I want to be more planned, so I have just cut the coupons, figured out my budget to avoid impulse shopping, checked the brand websites according to my Spring wardrobe wishes  and I might will shopping more online.

Stay turned for my haul!
